Been going to River House for years, this has to be the best sandwich shop I’ve ever ate at. Everything is always fresh, the staff is always friendly and accommodating as well. They have perfected the art of making a BOMB sandwich! I can’t make this good of a sandwich as home, money well spent!

We stopped for lunch today and it was by far the best sandwich I have had in awhile! My dad got the roast beef panini and I had the hoagie sandwich. As soon as we walked out we both said I would come back and make the 40 min trip again. Now 3 hours later we are still talking about how good it was! You need a nice historical place for lunch, this is the place to go!!

Top notch. No place else resembles this establishment. Food is great, service is excellent, warm environment, prices reasonable. I have eaten here many years and so has the community with great support.

This cafe and soda fountain is extremely charming with old timey drink options along with modern choices! They offer an excellent sandwich selection along with soup and salad. A very cool place with tons of historic presence! Check it out!

Super cool place. It's like taking a step back in time. This would be a great place for nice little day trip to get a ice cream. I got a rueben delicious! Also had a sundae coffee ice cream with carmel, hot fudge, cherry, whip cream and it was delicious.

This is in the land time forgot. It's An old fashion soda/ice cream parlor. From the 20's swing era music playing in the background,to the sandwiches and soup. I was happy with my banana split. Delicious chocolate, scrumptious strawberry and creamy vanilla ice cream. Visit this place in Plattsmouth NE. You will be happy to take your family.

A small corner café with a great, back-in-the-day atmosphere. The first impression is a step back in time to a soda shop. It's totally great vibes and definitely great sandwiches.

I can’t wait to go back, honestly, I’m someone who likes to try new things. I do not know if I will be able to have anything other than the Reuben panini! One of my favorite sandwiches I’ve had. Maybe they’ll have a new soup I can try that day instead . Chicken wild rice soup was delicious, and the pasta salad was good too! Service was great, took some time to get our meals but well worth the wait. Totally understandable with the smaller staff they have. You have to try River House Cafe! (Normally I get some pics, but the food was too good to wait for a picture)
